ITBC were appointed to provided multi-disciplinary design services to produce full working drawings and specifications for the design phase of the scheme up to tender submission. ITBC organised the statutory approvals (planning, building regs, aquatrine etc). ITBC is also appointed to monitor the works on site in conjunction with Amey PM’s including dealing with technical queries, monitoring works on site for progress and quality of workmanship. The works are due to complete in November 2021.
Project Description
The extension comprised a two-storey traditionally built building providing sleeping accommodation for 12No. Junior Officers at ground floor and 6No. Senior Officers at first floor each with en-suite WC’s/showers. In addition, a communal kitchen and drying room is provided on each floor.

We engaged with all stakeholders and ensured the design met all the project requirements.
The multi-disciplinary design services provided Amey with a ‘one stop shop’ service avoiding multiple appointments and issues with design co-ordination.
